Boarding Information

Whether you’re departing from Sanur or Nusa Lembongan, we want your journey with Setia Fast Ferry to be smooth from start to finish. Please read the following important information to help you prepare for your trip.

Check-In & Boarding Procedures

From Lembongan to Sanur

  • Check-in location: Setia Fast Ferry Lembongan Office
  • Check-in time: At least 30 minutes before departure
  • A shuttle boat will transfer passengers and luggage to the main ferry.
  • Our friendly crew will assist you safely from the shuttle to our ferry.

From Sanur to Lembongan

  • Check-in location: Setia Fast Ferry Sanur Office or use your QR code ticket and go straight to the Sanur Harbour
  • Check-in time: At least 45 minutes before departure
  • After check-in, passengers and luggage are transported to Sanur Harbour.
  • Wait in the terminal until boarding is announced.
Luggage Allowance

Each passenger may bring:

  • Carry-on: 1 item (max. 60cm x 40cm x 30cm)
  • Checked baggage: 1 item (max. 25kg)

The following items travel free of charge:

  • Surfboards
  • Prams
  • Fishing rods
  • Travel cots

To help protect your belongings, surfboards must be packed in a suitable board bag or protective case. Fishing rods, prams, travel cots and other bulky or fragile items should also be securely packed before travel. Please let our team know at the time of booking if you will be travelling with any of these items.

Note:

  • Please keep your valuables in your carry-on luggage.

  • Additional luggage may be accepted only if space allows. Please contact us prior to travel. Extra or oversized items not pre-approved and may need to be stored at your own risk and cost.
Travelling with Pets

Yes, we welcome pets aboard — with the following requirements:

  • Please advise our team at the time of booking if you’ll be travelling with a pet.
  • Pets must stay on the rear deck and remain on a lead at all times.
  • You must bring a copy of your pet’s most recent vaccination record.
  • As per Sanur Harbour regulations, you’ll wait at the rear of the harbour building (not inside) for boarding with your pet.

Boarding Assistance

Our experienced crew is on hand at every step — assisting with:

  • Getting on and off the boat
  • Transferring from shuttle boats
  • Handling your luggage

Important information

We recommend easy-to-remove footwear and clothing suitable for a beach landing.

Arrival in Nusa Lembongan

Our ferry arrives and departs from Jungutbatu Beach, the main beach on Nusa Lembongan. There is no public jetty, so all landings are beach landings via shuttle boat.

  • Shuttle boats make for a safer transfer, especially in changing sea conditions.
  • If conditions require, we may arriver or depart at the Mangrove area, where the waters are typically calmer.
